James Martinez brings plenty of quality coaching experience to the NFA staff.

Martinez took over as the Fleetwood (Penn.) High School Head Coach in 2012, inheriting a Tigers program that was a combined 2-28 from 2009-11. Fleetwood went 3-7 in Coach Martinez’s first year on the sidelines and improved to 6-5 in 2013.

Martinez was also the Head Coach at Nogales (Ariz.) High School, and he headed an eight-man program at Hays/Lodge Pole School on a Native American reservation in Montana.

Prior to turning the Fleetwood program around, Coach Martinez was the Defensive Coordinator at Boyertown High School in Pennsylvania.

Martinez also coached four years of college football at Kentucky State, Dakota State and Central Arkansas. He has spent his entire career working with young athletes, helping them improve and succeed in their athletic endeavors.
